Who we are
QL Machinery specializes in one stage of textile production: the finishing of wool. We design and build machinery across the whole of the craft: tops processing, yarn steaming, wet finishing and dry finishing. We are based in Wuxi, one of the cradles of China's modern textile industry.

The company was founded in 1991, and in 1993 we formally entered wool finishing. In the years that followed we built a wide range of textile dyeing and finishing machinery, and wool finishing ran through all of it. Today it is the whole of our work.
We have long serviced and rebuilt the imported European machines running in mills across the country. We take them apart, calibrate them, and restore them by hand. From first principle to last detail, we know this craft whole. That is the ground every machine we build now stands on.

Milestones

| 1991 Wuxi County Qiaolian Light Chemical Machinery Works | Founded in Wuxi, starting in textile components and machining. |

| 1993 | Entered wool finishing. Built China's first dual-inverter high-efficiency decatizing machine. |
| 1996 Wuxi Yanqiao Weixing Textile Dyeing & Finishing Equipment Works | Began building dyeing, drying and finishing machines. Started servicing and rebuilding imported European machines. |
| 2004 | Developed in-house China's first wool tops shrinkproofing line. |
| 2008 Wuxi Xingweixing Machinery Technology Co., Ltd. | The company was restructured and upgraded. Two firsts in one year, both developed in-house: China's first continuous decatizing machine, and China's first four-channel wool scouring and milling machine. |
| 2008 – 2020 | Continuous development. The machine range grew to cover the whole craft: tops processing, yarn steaming, wet finishing and dry finishing. |
| 2020 Wuxi Qianli Machinery Co., Ltd. | The whole focus narrowed to one craft: high-end wool finishing. Supply, service and rebuilding of European machines continue as ever. |
